PROUD TO DELIVER: ARCHIE ROSE

Welcome to The Still Room.

When Archie Rose began production 11 years ago, the Rosebery distillery was the beating heart of their operation. Many (now-iconic) products were created in this room: the early signature range hand-filled and handwritten; experimental releases like ArchieMite, Opera House gins and Hunter Valley Shiraz Spirit.

In recent years, the original Rosebery site has transitioned into an experience-focused venue for tastings, along with a temporary bottle shop welcoming locals and visitors.

The space today is a thoughtfully space by loop creative, to really reflect its new purpose as an event and retail destination and has now been renamed “The Still Room”, with the three original stills still standing proudly, retired yet bearing the marks of the years they served as the engine of production.

We made the bar entirely out of copper with Archie Rose’s integrated logo, making it an imposing bar that rises dramatically toward the ceiling with black curtains behind, really showcasing Archie Rose’s collection of spirits. Fans and heaters were added to the space to make it more comfortable in both summer and winter. At the back of house, a sink and cooling room were installed.

Leading into The Still Room is a brand-new retail space. Here, guests can browse the full Archie Rose range, including a handful of rare finds not available anywhere else. You can even personalise your own bottle while you wait: select a blend of whisky, gin or vodka, taste it, then choose your label background and craft your message.
